Symposium venue:
The Symposium will take place from 14. – to 18. Sept. in Osijek, Croatia. It will be hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture, J.J. Strossmayer University, in an eighteenth-century complex called “Tvrđa” (“Citadel”). It is the best- preserved ensemble of Baroque buildings anywhere in Croatia. The Conference building is situated at the centre of Tvrđa, on the northern side of Trg Svetog Trojstva 3 (Holy Trinity Square).
Public transportation:
Osijek centre can easily be explored by foot. Both the commercial part and tourist sites are located at walking distance from the Symposium venue and selected hotels. However, Osijek offers two possibilities to get around town: buses and trams. They both operate from 5.00 to 23,00.

Money:
Banks are open Monday to Saturday,
usually from 9,00 to 19,00. ATM machines are available everywhere,
mainly in the city centre. Local currency in Croatia is “kuna”. In
restaurants, shops, public transportation, etc. only local money is
accepted. Credit cards can be used in hotels, restaurants and many
